Band leader and drummer Roy Pfeffer is one of London's most recognised ambassadors of New Orleans music. He leads acclaimed New Orleans funk band The Big Smoke Family - regulars at London’s Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express soho and favorites on New Orleans biggest radio station WWOZ. He is also a founding member of The Cosimo Matassa Project - a band dedicated to 1950 New Orleans rhythm ’n’ blues and playing music by artists such as Fats Domino, Smiley Lewis and Dr John.
